On that first trip to Lithuania, something felt familiar. A quiet sensibility that seemed to echo Japan in some way. Each piece has been selected in the spirit of tracing that connection — drawn not simply because it was made in Lithuania, but because something in its color, form, or presence spoke to us. Some pieces are deeply traditional; others are little more than souvenirs. Some are beloved by Lithuanians; others might be overlooked or unknown even there.
What we encounter in our travels and daily lives are only small fragments. But gathered together, those fragments begin to form something
