ヤナギのミニかご 

ギンタスさんが作るヤナギのミニかご。リトアニアの典型的な収穫かごの形のミニチュアサイズです。キャンディを入れたり、ドライフラワーを入れて飾ったり、小さなものを入れてお使いいただけます。  かご作りは農閑期の手仕事。ギンタスさんは、冬の間に作り溜めているかごを春の初めに届けてくれます。まるで春を告げる便りのようです。

リトアニア語には「（かごを）編む」という意の動詞「pinti」があります。リトアニアのかごは、収穫に使う丈夫な働くかご。その他にも薪を入れたり、毛糸を入れたり、暮らしの隅々で活躍します。森でのきのこ狩りやベリー、ハーブ摘みにも欠かせない道具です。

※ 手仕事のため、紋様の仕上がりには個体差があります。サイズには若干の誤差があります。
