Suimok is a Tokyo-based studio working at the intersection of design and craft. Beyond visual beauty, the studio holds close the sensations of touch, texture, and the feeling that arises in the time spent with an object — giving form to paper goods and products with this in mind. The Paper Items introduced here are originals conceived, designed, and made entirely by Suimok. At every stage — photography, printing, finishing — each piece is shaped with care, imagining the impression it will make when held, and the scenes in which it will be used. Each item is designed to hold a quiet presence in daily life, gently enriching the relationship between a person and themselves, or between one person and another.
