Beatrice Keleriene
Teacup

He makes pottery in a wood-fired kiln built in the garden of his home in a residential area of the capital, Vilnius. He also has an atelier on the premises, but says that he mostly paints in the kitchen. He has studied ancient pottery, and has drawn inspiration from excavated ancient pottery to create his unique style. He is particularly focused on research into Japanese anagama kilns, and actually travels back and forth between Japan and Shimane to create his works. His everyday tableware is easy to use and has a lively charm. The small cups, baked in the gaps inside the kiln, are great for use with alcohol, condiments, and snacks, and one can imagine many uses for them.
