This is a classic-shaped pitcher made by Vigantas, who teaches and creates pottery in the capital, Vilnius. In the old days, pitchers were used daily on Lithuanian dining tables to hold fermented drinks, milk, kefir, etc.

Vigantas is a founding member of the Craft Guild, a studio and gallery that aims to spread traditional pottery techniques. With a strong build and a gentle expression, the pottery he creates has a mysterious charm that combines precision and generosity.

Precautions for use: This pottery is made from Lithuanian red clay that has been baked at around 800°C. It is relatively soft and not as resistant to impacts as bricks or terracotta, so please handle with care.
Please use it as a flower vase or a utensil stand. Please note that if you pour water directly into it, moisture will seep out over time.
